Tear resistance and durable elasticity is one of Stone Paper mechanical properties which enable side gusseted bags to hold up to 20kg of weight and pass a 3 meter drop test, making them ideal for heavy duty applications. They are also puncture resistant which makes shipping safer and easier.
Q. Can I choose where to position a degassing valve on a side gusset pouch?
A. Yes, we have the ability to accommodate customer requests for specific positioning of degassing valves.
Q. How do you reseal a side gusset pouch?
A. Heat sealing devices come in different sizes. You can use a small table mount or a semi automatic sealing unit. Ask us for more information.
Q. Can I have a transparent side on my pouch?
A. Stone Paper materials are not transparent; hence your pouch will be opaque. However, you can use a transparent film for the opposite side of your pouch to display your product. Or you could choose both sides transparent – it just would not be mineral paper.
Q. Can side gusset pouches have re-closable zippers?
A. The production technique of side gusset pouch does not allow zippers to be installed; however, a variety of tin ties are available.
